Should not contain
- Fractions other than drywall
- Wet drywall waste
Unsorted drywall/plaster waste, in whole boards or in pieces, mainly from construction and demolition projects.
Drywall/plaster is amassed in closed containers, or bags made for this purpose. Drywall/plaster is transported to a waste reception facility for temporary storage before transport to waste treatment facilities.
Drywall/plaster is ground up and impurities (cardboard, burlap, etc.) are removed.
The drywall/plaster is then used in the production of new drywall.
A sorting fee may be charged if the item is not sorted into a homogeneous fraction. If sorting is not possible, the entire delivery can be reclassified.
Special risk factors
Drywall/plaster is not dangerous but avoid inhalation of dust and direct skin contact.
